Treehouse

Designed by

Chris Jamison

Produced In-house by

Plywood Office

This Treehouse was designed to straddle an existing drain tile while sitting close to the tree without damaging its fragile root system. A pair of oval shaped wooden beams allowed for simple construction and the exact column locations could be adjusted to not interfere with the roots below.

Built as a family project, labor for this Treehouse was provided by the hands of four different generations. The final phase of construction will include a peaked mesh roof that to shed needles and provide climbing access to the branches above via a wooden plank.
